Some features at the cottage to make your stay enjoyable

curlew-cottage-entryStep inside our charming, old style, country home situated on a quarter acre of gardens. Take the time to smell the roses, listen to the birds, relax and re-charge your batteries.

You can check in any time after 2:00 pm and checkout is 11:00 am, but talk to me if you plan a later departure from the Dungog area.

As ell as access to a fully equipped kitchen there is a guest fridge in the living room, coffee and tea facilities with accompanying snacks. Natural spring water, complimentary port, a Smart TV in the living room if you wish to use your Stan or Netflix account, free WiFi, a selection of DVDs, playing cards, games and books.

If you choose to stay in for dinner during your stay, you can also barbecue on the back verandah  and dine alfresco in the warmer months.

At the back of the garden is another deck with table and chairs, certainly a quiet spot to read your book, roll out a yoga mat (provide) or just enjoy the birdsong and maybe spot a local satin bowerbird. CurlewCottage-spagazebo

If you do feel like an active break, there are brochures on the bureau for the Dungog Common or the Barrington Tops.  If golf is more your style, we have three sets of golf clubs for you to borrow and you can tee off at the 9 hole course, just south of town or go the course in Paterson and have a meal at the Paterson Tavern or Paterson Lodge, the beautiful old CBC ban building on the corner.
